Lytude was first founded in December 2018 by Brendan Okey-iwobi, Known as DJ bon26, while in middle school at Chilton middle school in California.

          Although Lytude was discovered in 2018, it was then firstly launched In 2019 but only to serve for streaming DJ bon26's music. Back then (in 2019), it had only 4 visitors per month who only came to stream Dj bon26's music (Now with over 500 visitors per month). With the idea of creating a website for streaming only DJ bon26's music, Lytude founded their first service, Soundlytude, where users can go to and upload their music and share it with the world to listen. As time passed more other advanced features began to comeout resulting in the media to be fully relaunched again in 2021. With the idea, code and technology used to create Soundlytude, Lytude then begun to create services like Recordlytude using wix.com.

          In 2020 Lytude changed, it became even better, It had extra features like blogging, it became a multinational service provider and now has a members area. All this could only happen due to Covid19 quarantine in 2020. The best part, It still remained free, not only in Lytude but in most of our services
